Bhojpuri actor and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) candidate from Chhapra, Bihar, Khesari Lal Yadav, was reportedly served a notice by the Mira Bhayandar Municipal Corporation (MBMC) in Thane on 05 November 2025, directing him to demolish alleged illegal constructions at his bungalow in the Mira Road area (here, here and here). Amid this, several videos (here, here, here, here and here) showing a building being demolished by a bulldozer have gone viral on social media, with claims that they show Yadav’s house being brought down. Let’s find out the truth behind this video.
Claim: The video shows Bhojpuri actor and RJD candidate Khesari Lal Yadav’s house being demolished by authorities after a notice was served by the Mira Bhayandar Municipal Corporation.
Fact: The viral video is AI-generated. Visual inconsistencies and a watermark of the AI tool Pixverse were observed in the footage. An AI detection tool, Hive, also confirmed with 99.2% certainty that the video was AI-generated. Moreover, no credible reports indicate that any demolition activity has taken place as of 13 November 2025. Hence, the claim is FALSE.
To verify the claim, we closely examined the viral video and noticed that several versions of it carried the watermark of Pixverse AI, an artificial intelligence tool used to generate videos from text prompts. This indicates that the viral clip was AI-generated.
While examining the viral video, we noticed several inconsistencies that point toward digital manipulation. For instance, a slight touch from the bulldozer causes an entire wall to collapse unnaturally. The movements of both the bulldozer and the falling structure appear jerky and unrealistic. Additionally, the same side of the house looks different in separate frames of the video. Notably, the side grill being knocked down by the bulldozer suddenly turns into a wall as it falls, an error commonly seen in AI-generated visuals. These inconsistencies strongly suggest that the viral video is AI-generated.
To verify whether the video was AI-generated, we analysed it using the AI detection tool Hive. The tool indicated with 99.2% confidence that the video is AI-generated.
Additionally, while it is true that Khesari Lal Yadav received a notice from the Mira Bhayandar Municipal Corporation (MBMC), a keyword search revealed no credible reports of any demolition activity carried out by the department as of 13 November 2025. This further confirms that the viral video showing a bulldozer demolishing a house is unrelated and fabricated.
To sum up, the viral video claiming to show a bulldozer demolishing the Mumbai house of RJD Bihar candidate Khesari Lal Yadav is AI-generated.
