Claim: The viral video shows police officers and police dogs bidding a real farewell to a police dog.

Fact: The video is AI-generated. The original upload on the YouTube channel MamaPapaWoWo and analysis using Google’s SynthID confirm that the footage is artificially created. Hence the claim is FALSE.

To verify the video, we conducted a reverse image search on Google, which led us to the original upload on a YouTube channel named MamaPapaWoWo. In the video description, it is clearly mentioned that the content is AI-generated.

While checking the channel description of MamaPapaWoWo, it clearly states that they create Artificial Intelligence (AI)-generated content. Numerous similar AI-generated videos can also be found on the account (here, here, and here).

To confirm whether the viral video is AI-generated, we ran it through Google’s SynthID AI detector, which confirmed that the video is indeed AI-generated. These findings clearly indicate that the viral video is not real.
