A video (here, here, here and here) has gone viral on social media showing a child standing on a railway track as a train approaches. In the clip, a dog jumps onto the track and appears to help the child climb back onto the platform. Let’s find out the truth behind this video.

Claim: The viral video shows a dog rescuing a child from a railway track as a train approaches.
Fact: The video is AI-generated. Detailed analysis revealed multiple inconsistencies, and the original upload on the YouTube channel Multiverse Matrix confirms it produces AI content. An AI detection tool, Hive, also indicated that the video is very likely artificially created. Hence, the claim is FALSE
While closely analysing the video, we noticed several inconsistencies. For instance, a man on the platform disappears midway through the clip, and both the train number and the text on the train change as it approaches. These discrepancies suggest that the video was likely generated using AI.
To trace the origin of the video, we performed a reverse image search on Google, which led us to its original upload on a YouTube channel named Multiverse Matrix. The channel’s description clearly states that it is a channel that uploads AI content, and several other videos on the channel also appear to be AI-generated (here, here and here).
To verify whether the video was AI-generated, we ran it through the AI detection tool Hive, which indicated that the video is 90.6% likely to be AI-generated (Archived link). These findings confirm that the viral video is not real but artificially created using AI.
To sum up, the video showing a dog rescuing a child from a railway track is AI-generated and not real.
