Fact: The tweet shared in the post is a morphed one. This image was created by a satirical Facebook page named ‘Ashish Nehra Academy’. Finn Allen had not made any such tweet by mocking the security conditions in Pakistan. Hence the claim made in the post is FALSE.
When we searched to check whether New Zealand cricketer Finn Allen had made any such tweet on his official Twitter handle, we could not find any such tweet. Finn Allen made his last tweet on 04 August 2021. If Finn Allen had made such a controversial tweet, several sports websites and news channels would have published articles reporting that information. But we could not find any such news report on the internet.
To get more reliable information regarding this tweet, the ‘India Today Anti Fake News War Room’ (AFWA) contacted New Zealand Cricket (NZC) board. NZC officials clarified ‘India Today’ that Finn Allen had not made any such tweet by mocking the security conditions in Pakistan.
