Let’s verify the claim made in the post through this article.

Claim: The video shows Rahul Gandhi visiting Mata Vaishno Devi on the second day of Chaitra Navratri 2025.

Fact: The viral video dates to September 2021, when Rahul Gandhi visited Mata Vaishno Devi. As of 02 April 2025, no media reports confirm his visit during Chaitra Navratri 2025. Hence, the claim made in the post is Misleading.

We conducted an internet search using relevant keywords to verify the viral claim. However, as of 02 April 2025, we found no credible reports confirming that Rahul Gandhi visited Mata Vaishno Devi during Chaitra Navratri 2025.

However, we found an X post dated 30 March 2025 by Rahul Gandhi in which he extended greetings for Chaitra Navratri and other regional festivals. He stated, “Best wishes to everyone celebrating Gudi Padwa, Chaitra Navratri, Ugadi, Cheiraoba, Cheti Chand, and Sajibu! May this auspicious occasion bring joy and happiness into your lives and fill your homes with peace and prosperity.”

A reverse image search of the keyframes from the viral video led us to a video uploaded on Rahul Gandhi’s YouTube account on 10 September 2021. The video, titled “Darshan of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi,” featured visuals from the viral clip. The description of the video revealed that it is from Rahul Gandhi’s pilgrimage to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi.

We also found several videos uploaded on Congress’s official social media handles in September 2021 from his visit to Mata Vaishno Devi (here, here, and here).

Additionally, we found multiple news reports (here, here, and here) from September 2021 covering his visit to Mata Vaishno Devi.

To sum up, the viral video is from Rahul Gandhi’s visit to Mata Vaishno Devi in September 2021, not Chaitra Navratri 2025.
