Claim: The video shows a Hindu man brutally beating a woman.

A reverse image search of key frames from the viral video led to several media reports (here, here, and here) carrying the same visuals. According to these reports, a man from the Malhar area of Udhampur, Jammu and Kashmir, allegedly assaulted his wife over an unfulfilled dowry demand. He had reportedly demanded ₹10 lakh in cash and a car as dowry, and when these demands were not met, he brutally beat her.
Following the incident, the victim was taken to Udhampur Government Medical College (GMC) for treatment. Her family complained to the police, alleging continuous dowry harassment and torture. The Rahmbal police registered an FIR against the husband and his family and arrested the accused, identified as Azam Ali. The woman has been identified as Ravin Begum. Reports also state that the accused is a soldier, and further action in the case is underway. Additionally, there is no reference to any communal angle in the case.
To verify whether there was any communal angle involved, we contacted ASP Sandeep Bhatt of Udhampur Police. He clarified that there is no communal angle to the case and confirmed that both the accused and the victim, identified as Azam Malik and Ravin Begum, belong to the Muslim community.
To sum up, the man beating his wife over an alleged unfulfilled dowry demand in Udhampur, J&K, in this video is a Muslim, not a Hindu.
