The posts further claim that he was stopped during a police check, where it was discovered that he had killed the woman. Let’s verify the claim made in the post in this article.

Fact: The incident shown in the TV9 Bharatvarsh graphic has no communal angle. The woman, Radha, was murdered in Deenpur, Delhi, by her live-in partner, Virendra Singh, not by a Muslim man named Abdul. Reports confirm that Virendra strangled her after an argument and later placed the body in a car with the help of two associates. His wife, Poonam, and brother-in-law, Chetan, were also arrested. Dwarka DCP Ankit Singh confirmed to Factly that both the accused and the victim are Hindu. Hence, the claim made in the post is FALSE.
To verify the claim, we performed a Google keyword search and found the same TV9 Bharatvarsh graphic shared on the outlet’s X handle on 27 November 2025. The post also included a link to their news report.
Upon reviewing the news report linked in the TV9 Bharatvarsh X post, we found details of the actual incident. According to the report, the woman named Radha was murdered by her drunk live-in partner in Deenpur, under the Chhawla police station area of Dwarka district, Delhi. On the morning of 26 November 2025, residents of the Deenpur Extension area noticed a woman locked inside a car and alerted the police. When officers reached the spot, they found her dead in the back seat. The investigation revealed that she was in a live-in relationship with 35-year-old Virendra Singh, a resident of the same locality. Virendra confessed to the crime during questioning, and the police registered a murder case and arrested him. The news report made no mention of the claims circulating on social media and clearly identified the accused as Virendra Singh.
We also found several media reports (here, here, here, here, and here) that provided additional details about the case. These reports stated that Virendra and Radha argued on the night of 25 November, during which Virendra strangled her. After the murder, he sought help from two associates to place the body in a car. Virendra, who was intoxicated, planned to dispose of the body but instead left it in the vehicle and went back to sleep. The next morning, a neighbour saw the body and alerted the police. The reports also noted that Virendra’s wife, Poonam, and his brother-in-law, Chetan, were later arrested on 30 November 2025 in connection with the case. Further investigation revealed that Virendra was married with children, while Radha had lost both her husband and father earlier.
We then contacted Dwarka DCP Ankit Singh for confirmation. He told Factly that there is no communal angle to the incident and that both the accused and the victim belong to the Hindu community.
