Scripted video shared as visuals of a Jawan vandalising trunk in frustration of leave cancellation

A video is being shared on social media claiming it as visuals of a soldier vandalising trunk due to frustration of leave cancellation. Let’s verify the claim made in the post.  

Claim: Video of Jawan vandalising trunk after his leave was rejected.

Fact: The video shared in the post is a scripted one. Similar scripted videos portraying a jawan vandalising truck in frustration of leave cancellation are being circulated on social media at least since April 2021. Hence, the claim made in the post is FALSE.

On reverse image search of the screenshots from the video shared in the post, a video with similar visuals was found published by a YouTube channel named ‘Army Aspirant yt’ in January 2022. This YouTube channel posted the video describing it as the visuals of Jawan’s frustration after his leave was rejected. At the end title of the video, it is described that the video was directed by Army_Aspirant. 

But a few YouTube channels published the same video a few days before ‘Army Aspirant yt’ YouTube channel. They can be seen here and here.  All these YouTube channels publish videos related to army training and motivational videos. Further, many YouTube channels have published similar scripted dramas portraying individuals in army uniform vandalising trunk in the frustration of leave cancellation.

To sum it up, a scripted video is being shared as visuals of a Jawan vandalising trunk in frustration of leave cancellation.
