No Indian Millionaire showered $100,000 to celebrate Modi’s victory in New York

A video is being shared on Facebook after the victory of BJP in the 2019 General Elections in India, which claims that an Indian millionaire showered $100,000 to celebrate Modi’s victory. Let’s check the authenticity of the claim being made.

Claim: $100,000 given away in New York to celebrate Modi victory.  

Fact: This video is published by a music producer, Joe Kush even before the completion of final phase of 2019 General Election. Hence the claim made in the post is False.

When searched Google for ’47 Strret New York Money Shower’ the results show a similar video uploaded by SEVEN50 on 15th May, 2019, even before the final phase of the 2019 general elections. When searched for ‘The God Joe Kush’, you can find his Instagram profile where he describes himself as a Music Producer and Video Engineer. You can watch the same video in his Instagram account form a different angle and also similar video of his showering money from Detroit.

Finally, a music producer’s money shower video in New York is shared as millionaire showering $100,000 to celebrate Modi victory.
