According to the numbers on that website, it was found that 45,298 people (14,125 civilians, 5,236 SF personnel, and 25,715 terrorists) died in Jammu and Kashmir due to terrorist-related activities between 1988 and 2018.
Also, in the Annual Report (2018-19) of Ministry of Home Affairs, it can be found that ‘since the advent of militancy in J&K (in 1990), 14024 Civilians and 5273 Security Force (SF) personnel have lost their lives (up to 31.03.2019).’ These numbers are far less than the numbers given in the post.
