Fact: No such announcement is made by the Central government. Also, the video in the posted link is related to PM Modi’s address at the inauguration of 750 MW Solar Project in Rewa (MP) on 10 July 2020. PM Modi did not mention any such loan waiver in his address. Hence the claim made in the post is FALSE.

When we searched if the Central government has made any such announcement, no information was found regarding any such farm loan waiver up to two lakh rupees from 01 December 2020. If any such proposal were announced by the government, all the reputed media agencies would have published about it; but no such news reports were found.
