Claim: Hundreds of thousands of Kashmiris took street yesterday in Jammu and Kashmir to liberate their land from India.
Fact: The gathering in the video is a funeral procession of two Kashmiri youth in a gun battle with Indian security forces. The procession took place in December-2018. Hence the claim made in the post is FALSE.
When the screenshots of the video were run through Yandex Reverse Image Search, a link to a YouTube video was found in the search results. The title of the video reads: ‘Two Teenage Kashmiri Rebels Were Killed Yesterday | Kashmiri women take out a procession’. The video was uploaded by ‘U TV Viral’ in December-2018.
When searched on Google with the description given below the YouTube video, some newspaper articles on the procession can be found in the search results.
