Fact: The viral video is AI-generated. The original video was posted on Sanjay Dutt’s Instagram on 07 November 2018, where he is seen wishing everyone a Happy Diwali. Our analysis using various AI detection tools confirmed that the audio in the viral video has been manipulated using artificial intelligence. Hence, the claim made in the post is FALSE.
A reverse image search of keyframes from the viral video led us to the original video posted on Sanjay Dutt’s Instagram handle on 07 November 2018. In this original video, Sanjay Dutt wishes everyone a Happy Diwali.
We then used the Hive AI detector to analyze the video’s audio, which confirmed that it was 76.5% AI-generated.
