A viral video (here, here & here) on social media claims to show an authentic incident of Immadi Ravi, an individual linked to the movie piracy website iBomma, who was arrested on charges of digital piracy, data theft, and financial fraud, performing a live hacking demonstration in front of a judge in court. Claim: Video showing Immadi Ravi, linked to the iBomma piracy case, performing a live hacking demonstration in front of a judge in court.
Fact: The video is AI-generated and not a real incident. The creator confirmed producing it with an AI model, and no credible evidence or news reports support the occurance of such an event. AI detection tools and visible inconsistencies further confirm the video is fabricated. Hence, the claim made in the post is FALSE.
First, we searched the internet but found no credible reports stating that Immadi Ravi had given a hacking demo before a judge. Noticing comments suggesting the video was AI-generated, we examined it closely and found inconsistencies such as distorted faces, missing legs, and an unnatural voice. These details indicate that the video is likely AI-generated and not authentic.
We then conducted a reverse image search, which revealed that the video was first uploaded to the Instagram page ‘prajayhoney’ on 23 November 2025. Upon contact, the user Prajay confirmed that he created the video using AI. He stated that it was generated using an AI video model developed by his Vizag-based company.
Furthermore, AI video detectors like Hive and Deepfake-o-meter also identified the viral video as AI-generated.
To sum it up, an AI-generated video is being shared as a real incident of Immadi Ravi performing a live hacking demo in front of a judge in court.
