A viral video (here, here, and here) on social media shows a boy teasing a girl walking on a road with her bicycle. In the viral clip, which looks like it was recorded by a person who tries to confront the boy for his actions, we can see him obstructing the girl as she tries to escape and continue her walk. When confronted, the teaser tells the person who confronts him that he is the son of an ‘adhyaksha/president.’ We fact-check this claim through this article.

Fact: This is a scripted video created by a social media content creator named ‘Aman Beniwal.’ The original full-length version of this video contains a disclaimer that says that the video was made for ‘entertainment purposes only.’ This does not depict a real incident. Hence, the claim made in the post is False.
To check the veracity of the viral claim, we performed a reverse image search on a few of the viral videos’ keyframes. This search led us to the original full-length version of the viral video. The video video is a vertically flipped and shorter version of the original video.
This was uploaded by a social media content creator named Aman Benival on YouTube on 4 June 2024 with a title that reads Beta. The duration of this video is 6.55. At the 56-second mark in the video, we can see a disclaimer that says, ‘The content made in this video should be considered for entertainment purposes only.’ This makes it clear that the video is fictional and does not show a real incident.
Through further search, we learned that Aman Benival uploads such scripted videos on his YouTube channel. He appears in many of his videos, playing a similar role to the one he did in the viral video, which is a man who secretly films such incidents and confronts them later.
