Scripted Video from Fly High Institute Falsely Shared as a Real Mid-Flight Altercation Between Passengers

Claim: Video of a real mid-flight altercation between a man and a woman inside an aircraft.

Fact: The video is scripted content by Fly High Institute Nagpur, made for training purposes, not a real incident. Hence, the claim made in the post is FALSE.

To investigate, we first conducted an internet search and found no credible media reports about the viral video. We then performed a reverse image search and discovered that the video was originally uploaded (here, here & here) on the Instagram page of Fly High Institute Nagpur, in three parts during the second week of September 2025.

According to Fly High Institute’s website and social media handles, the institute specialises in air hostess training, travel, tourism, and aviation hospitality. Their social media pages frequently share scripted videos (here & here) demonstrating how cabin crew should handle difficult situations that may arise during flights. As part of this effort, they created a video featuring content creators Deepak Kalal and Rutu Ramteke, both of whom also shared (here & here) the video on their Instagram accounts.

Fly High Institute stated that the viral video depicts a scenario where a passenger inappropriately touches fellow travellers, and teaches how a cabin crew should handle it. Previously, we have debunked (here & here) several similar scripted videos from the institute featuring Deepak Kalal, Rutu Ramteke, and others, which were also misrepresented online as real events.

To sum it up, the viral video is scripted content from Fly High Institute, not a real mid-flight altercation between passengers.
