Fact: The video dates back to 14 November 2022 and is from Malaysia, not India. It shows Reduan Mahmood assaulting Adrina Mohd Ariff at their home in Batu 9, Cheras. Malaysian media reports confirm he was charged under Section 323 of the Penal Code. Hence, the claim made in the post is FALSE.
A reverse image search of keyframes from the viral video led us to a report published by the Malaysia-based news portal Alhijrah. Featuring a screenshot from the video, the report revealed that the incident occurred in Batu 9 Cheras, Malaysia, on 19 November 2022.

These reports identify the man in the video as Reduan Mahmood, who was charged under Section 323 of the Penal Code for voluntarily causing hurt to Adrina Mohd Ariff by hitting and kicking her at their home in Batu 9, Cheras, on 14 November 2022. This confirms that the video has no connection to India.
